The Royal Bath was the first hotel in Bournemouth, with a commanding position on the East Cliff. The hotel opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838 and since then has entertained countless distinguished visitors. Royal visitors include the King and Queen of Sweden, and Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III. Disraeli and Gladstone, political rivals of the 19th Century also stayed here. Set in 3 acres of landscaped gardens, with views across the Channel as far as the eye can see. Take a long deep breath of the fresh South Coast air; welcome to the oldest and grandest hotel in Bournemouth.

The Spa and Leisure facilities have just been refurbished. Pamper yourself with a luxurious spa treatment or work out in the fully equipped gym. Step into the steam room, luxuriate in the fabulous health and beauty treatments and feel the weight lift from your shoulders.
